Family Readiness Support Assistants (FRSAs) serve as special staff to National Guard Commanders on all matters of well being, resilience, family readiness and reintegration. FRSAs are vital conduits for communicating and executing the Commanders Total Family Readiness Program (AR 600-20), providing support to the families and service members based on the commands vision so that Soldiers and families are informed, educated, assisted, and made ready for the unique demands of military life before, during, and after deployment. FRSAs provide training and support to the command, families and volunteers ensuring that National Guard families are incorporated into the success of readiness, resilience and reintegration on the home front.
