The South Carolina National Guard provides students with a chance to learn more about the opportunities it can provide through a Volunteer (unpaid) Intern Program. The internship runs during the fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Our mission is to empower the next generation by providing a comprehensive experience within the South Carolina National Guard, giving students a firsthand view of the benefits of belonging while fostering leadership and community engagement. We provide a path for students to explore their potential, deepen their understanding of military service, and cultivate a lasting sense of patriotism and service to our community, state, and nation.

To be considered for an internship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

HIGH SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PACKET
School must have a requirement for internship
Submit requirements for internship from High School
Letter of recommendation
Letter from parent acknowledging unpaid internship request
