Michele Pyle, a volunteer from HOPE Animal Assisted Crisis Response speaks about their mission bringing dogs to the National Guard Readiness Center in West Columbia, S.C., to give Soldiers working around the clock from the flood disaster, a chance to relax and enjoy the K-9 company while they worked on disaster relief projects across the state, Oct. 11, 2015. The South Carolina National Guard has been activated to support state and county emergency management agencies and local first responders as historic flooding impacts counties statewide.
