Our Mission
Army National Guard
Air National Guard
SFRS shall provide readiness and assistance throughout the state to ensure the geographically dispersed Service Members and their Families have access to information, resources and services to support their unit personal and Family readiness.
Provide awareness of the existence and nature of benefits and entitlements to servicemembers, veterans, retirees, and their immediate family members.
Additionally, ensuring the Army National Guard Commanders have access to volunteer training, management, and recognition services and support to enable their Unit Soldier and Family Readiness Program.
Airman and Family Readiness is the state of preparedness of service members and their families through education and support programs that promote self-reliance and enhance individual and family well-being.
This is achieved through mutual reinforcement at Military Family Readiness Centers providing programing and events for servicemembers, civilian employees, retirees, and their family members-both immediate and extended. Family Readiness staff assist service members and their families no matter the branch or component.
